UPDATED COURSES

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Empower employees to facilitate a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported, and well-positioned to succeed. This course offers guidance on ways to embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace—such as appreciating differences and valuing others for the contributions they make. The course has an additional category for managers, which focuses on ways that managers can help support their organization's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion—such as leading by example and using objective criteria when hiring and assigning work. This course includes new, immersive activities and scenario layouts for a more dynamic and engaging learning experience.

Preventing Workplace Harassment and Violence: Canadian Edition

Provide employees and managers with the knowledge and best practices to recognize, prevent, and report behavior indicative of harassment and violence. The course covers what constitutes harassment, including the role played by unconscious bias, as well as who can be a harasser and where harassment can take place. Employees are given clear direction on the importance of behaving professionally while on the job, including work interactions away from the office and online. Additionally, employees learn to identify harassment based on protected characteristics (race, religion, national origin, age, disability, sex, and other characteristics), and the forms sexual harassment can take (hostile environment and abuse of authority).

Ensuring Data Privacy: US Edition + Optional CCPA Content

Emphasize the importance of protecting personal and confidential information, and the best practices for doing so. In this course, employees will learn to identify what constitutes personal and confidential information—including employee, customer, and organizational data—and what behaviors are consistent with respecting individual data privacy rights. This course also presents data privacy best practices with regards to handling portable and electronic devices, managing passwords, and recognizing and addressing phishing attempts. The course covers the data privacy risks associated with working with third parties, and how to mitigate the risks of careless disclosure by taking precautions with their personal conduct. Finally, the course covers how to recognize and respond to data privacy incidents, the importance of prompt reporting in light of breach notification and disclosure requirements, and the protection from retaliation for reporting.
