Do you even know if you’re prescribing the right medicine? - Hui Chen

We begin our five-part series with the ultimate compliance practitioner and truth teller, Hui Chen.

Hui’s analogy about our programs? Many teams tend to take an archaic, old school medicine approach – one where the answer to every problem is policies and training.

But is that medicine even working? You may need to step back to perform clinical trials or discover new medicine to re-diagnose and treat the disease. Evidence and information driven decision making via data analytics is needed to determine the best prognosis, and it shouldn’t be scary. After all, as Hui says “data is just information and analytics is just understanding the information you have.”
